Kisah ni berlaku pada sebelah pagi hari Sabtu. Lepas "Saturday's inspection", satu batch dikerahkan pergi TAR Hall. Ramai yang menyumpah-yumpah, ingat dah boleh keluar town, rupa-rupanya kena practice cheering. Cheerleaders (is this the correct description albeit the fact they did not wear skimpy clothing and carry pom-pom - which would be lead to an even more gruesome sight) adalah dari geng ganas batch 8791. So as you can imagine, with these sort of combination, it was not an enjoyable experience at all… (at least for me).
I couldn't remember the exact details that happened during that time, but the most memorable quote was " Macam tahi!!! Bla…bla….bla…Macam tahi!!!..... Macam tahi!!!" from our senior named Z*** of batch 8791. Kita cheering tak sama saja, tepuk tak sama, berhenti tak sama, kenala maki dengan mamat ni. And that was his favourite curse. Mula-mula aku kira gak berapa kali dia cakap, but lost count after 15 times. Itulah satu-satunya pengalaman aku dengar paling banyak perkataan "tahi" digunakan dalam satu masa.
After 3,4 hours of grueling intimidation and verbal abuse from the seniors, ramai yang hilang suara dan sakit tangan pasal tepuk banyak sangat. The good thing that came out of it - we managed to memorize the lyric and not be an embarrassment to koleq when cheering for our team. Plus, kita sempat keluar town hari tu….woohoo!!!
As a memento of that day, attached are the scanned images of the original copy of the "cheering chronicles" that we received on that day. Aku simpan sikit punya lama, dah jadi collector's item by now. You will find the name of the so–called culprit group printed on the paper.
